This handcrafted oak tree in early autumn brings warm green, yellow and brown tones to your model landscape. The densely built, single-trunk crown still reaches almost to the ground, while the first hints of autumn colour gently replace the fresh summer foliage. Place this model tree as a solitary feature, in small groups or combine it with birches and beeches to recreate typical Central European mixed deciduous forests in early autumn on your layout.
The pedunculate oak (Quercus robur), also known as common oak or English oak, served as the prototype for this model. It is the most widespread native oak species in Europe and is absent only from a few regions in the far north, hot Mediterranean areas and elevations above about 1,000 metres. In nature it reaches heights of around 20 to 40 metres depending on site conditions and competition within the stand. Choose the model size that matches your scale, or follow our recommendation based on your model railway gauge, and you will receive an exclusive model tree that blends harmoniously into your model landscape.
