Right of withdrawal

Consumers have the right to withdraw from this contract within 28 days without giving any reason.

The withdrawal period is 28 days from the day on which you or a third party named by you, who is not the carrier, have taken possession of the last goods.

To exercise your right of withdrawal, you must inform us (GATRA Modellbau Union, owner: Holger Schramm, Am Scheunenplatz 7, D-14550 Groß Kreutz (Havel), Germany, phone: +49 33207 31897, fax: +49 33207 31897, email: info@gatra-modellbau.com) of your decision to withdraw from this contract by means of a clear statement, for example by letter, fax or email. You may use the sample withdrawal form below, but this is not mandatory.

To meet the withdrawal deadline, it is sufficient that you send your communication concerning the exercise of the right of withdrawal before the withdrawal period has expired.

Consequences of withdrawal

If you withdraw from this contract, we shall reimburse all payments received from you, including delivery costs, without undue delay and at the latest within fourteen days from the day on which we receive notice of your withdrawal from this contract. This does not include any additional costs resulting from your choice of a delivery method other than the least expensive standard delivery offered by us.

We will use the same means of payment for the reimbursement as you used for the initial transaction, unless expressly agreed otherwise with you. You will not be charged any fees for this reimbursement. We may withhold reimbursement until we have received the goods back or until you have supplied evidence that you have sent back the goods, whichever is the earlier.

You must send back or hand over the goods to GATRA Modellbau Union, Am Scheunenplatz 7, D-14550 Groß Kreutz (Havel), Germany, without undue delay and in any event no later than fourteen days from the day on which you inform us of your withdrawal from this contract. The deadline is met if you send back the goods before the period of fourteen days has expired.

You bear the direct costs of returning the goods. You are only liable for any diminished value of the goods if that loss in value results from handling the goods in a way that was not necessary to establish their nature, characteristics and functioning.

Exclusion of the right of withdrawal

Where the statutory requirements are met, the right of withdrawal does not apply in particular to the following contracts:

Contracts for the supply of goods that are not prefabricated and for whose production an individual choice or decision by the consumer is decisive, or goods that are clearly tailored to the consumer’s personal needs.
Contracts for the supply of goods which, after delivery, have been inseparably mixed with other goods due to their nature.
