The foliage mat with copper beech foliage from miniNatur^® is a realistic material for greening self-built model trees in small scales from 1:160 to 1:220. Its finely textured surface and deep reddish-brown summer tones are ideal for slender copper beeches, dark background trees and accent plantings that should clearly stand out from light green vegetation.

At scales between 1:160 and 1:220, individual leaves can no longer be reproduced. The very fine foliage structure of this mat instead suggests a dense, yet slightly translucent canopy that still appears detailed at normal viewing distances on N, TT and Z gauge layouts. Because the intense red coloration of real copper beeches is tied to the growing season, this version is intended explicitly as summer foliage.
