Mat with Poplar Foliage in Late Autumn for Small-Scale Model Trees, Scales 1:160–220 – miniNatur®

The foliage mat with poplar foliage from miniNatur^® is a realistic material for greening self-built model trees in small scales from 1:160 to 1:220 (N to Z). Luminous pale yellow, light straw and soft golden tones with warm beige and a few muted olive-brown shadows reproduce the light, shimmering late autumn crowns of poplar stands and are ideal for distant avenues, riverbanks, windbreaks and tree lines in the middle and background of the layout.

In these small scales, the small, elongated poplar leaves can no longer be represented individually. The very fine, slightly irregular foliage structure of the mat instead suggests slender, columnar crowns in which most leaves have already turned to pale yellow and straw tones, with only a few deeper yellow-brown accents left. Torn into tiny pieces and applied in several layers, the material is suitable both for late autumn poplar avenues and for mixing into hedgerows and mixed deciduous woodland shortly before winter.
