This handcrafted birch tree with double trunk in summer brings rich, deep green foliage into your model landscape. The striking twin-trunk silhouette with slightly drooping branches and dense foliage almost down to the ground evokes a freely standing birch on a meadow or at the edge of a forest at the height of the growing season. Combine this model with single-trunk birch trees or place it in small groups to create varied scenes and a bright, eye-catching focal point on your layout.
The silver birch (Betula pendula), which serves as the prototype for this model, is widespread across large parts of Europe (except northern Scandinavia), North America and Asia. It thrives on relatively nutrient-poor soils and is considered an important pioneer species. In nature it usually reaches heights between 15 and 25 metres, occasionally up to 30 metres. Choose the size that matches your modelling scale or follow our recommendation by model railway gauge and you will receive an exclusive model tree that blends harmoniously into your model landscape.
