Mat with Beech Foliage in Summer for Small-Scale Model Trees, Scale 1:160-220 – miniNatur®

The foliage mat with beech foliage from miniNatur^® is a realistic material for greening self-built model trees in small scales from 1:160 to 1:220. The fresh medium to deep summer greens with slightly yellowish highlights capture the dense, rounded crowns of common beech trees and are ideal for avenues, forest edges and compact stands of deciduous woodland.

At scales between 1:160 and 1:220, individual leaves can no longer be reproduced. The very fine foliage structure of the mat instead suggests a dense but slightly translucent canopy that still appears detailed at normal viewing distances on N, TT and Z gauge layouts. Applied in thin, torn layers, you can build both light, airy crowns and darker background trees that give depth to the scene.
