This handcrafted weeping willow in late autumn brings the characteristic long, drooping branches and foliage that is already strongly coloured and noticeably thinned to your model landscape. Between the remaining green leaves, warm yellow and brown tones predominate, and some outer branches are already almost bare. The softly flowing crown now appears lighter and more transparent – ideal for atmospheric river bank scenes, park edges or as a striking solitary tree on your layout at the end of the autumn season.
The prototype for this model is the weeping willow (Salix × sepulcralis), which is widespread worldwide and usually grows close to water. In nature it reaches heights of about 10 to 22 metres. Choose the model size that matches your scale, or follow our recommendation based on your model railway gauge, and you will receive an exclusive model tree that blends harmoniously into your landscape.
