Mat with Oak Foliage in Late Autumn for Small-Scale Model Trees, Scales 1:160–220 – miniNatur®

The foliage mat with oak foliage from miniNatur^® is a realistic material for greening self-built model trees in small scales from 1:160 to 1:220 (N to Z). Deep warm brown and umber tones with muted orange, rusty red and dark ochre accents reproduce the late autumn crowns of oak stands and are ideal for distant hillsides, forest edges, hedgerows and valley slopes in the middle and background of the layout.

In these small scales, the deeply lobed oak leaves can no longer be represented individually. The very fine, irregular foliage structure of the mat instead suggests dense, slightly rugged crowns in which almost all leaves have turned to dark brown and reddish tones, with only a few warmer golden highlights remaining. Torn into small pieces and applied in several layers, the material is suitable both for late autumn oak woodland and for mixing into hedgerows and mixed deciduous stands shortly before winter.
