Mat with Oak Foliage in Early Autumn for Small-Scale Model Trees, Scales 1:160–220 – miniNatur®

The foliage mat with oak foliage from miniNatur^® is a realistic material for greening self-built model trees in small scales from 1:160 to 1:220 (N to Z). Deep, slightly muted greens with the first warm yellow, ochre and olive-brown tones reproduce early autumn oak stands and are ideal for forest edges, hedgerows, field boundaries and gentle hillsides in the middle and background of the layout.

In these small scales, the lobed oak leaves can no longer be represented individually. The very fine, irregular foliage structure of the mat instead suggests broad, dense crowns in which late-summer greens still dominate but are already interspersed with yellowing outer leaf zones and slightly bronzed patches. Depending on how finely you tear and stretch the material, you can create closed oak woods, loose copses or mixed stands with conifers and lighter-coloured birch and maple trees.
