Mat with Beech Foliage in Late Autumn for Small-Scale Model Trees, Scales 1:160–220 – miniNatur®

The foliage mat with beech foliage from miniNatur^® is a realistic material for greening self-built model trees in small scales from 1:160 to 1:220 (N to Z). Deep copper and rusty brown tones with warm orange, ochre and a few dull olive accents reproduce the almost fully coloured late autumn crowns of beech stands and are ideal for distant hillsides, forest edges, cuttings and valley slopes in the middle and background of the layout.

In these small scales, individual beech leaves can no longer be represented. The very fine, irregular foliage structure of the mat instead suggests dense, yet still slightly translucent crowns in which the last warmer yellow and orange tones lie over an already brown basic tone. Torn into small pieces and applied in several layers, the material is suitable both for late autumn beech woodland and for mixing into hedgerows and mixed deciduous stands shortly before winter.
