Beautiful beech in summer with double- or multiple-branched trunk and the striking red foliage which reaches almost to the ground. Place this article in your model landscape as a solitary plant, in a small group or create a complete forest.
The copper beech (Fagus sylvatica f. purpurea), served as a model for this kind of model tree and because of its reddish leaves also called purple beech, is a mutation of native beech (European beech). It is predominantly found in cultivated areas (parks, etc.). In nature it reaches a height of 30 meters. Choose the right size for your model scale or follow our recommendation according to the nominal size of your model railway. Since the red leaf colour decreases during the vegetation period, this beech variation is only available for summer.
