Typical model of a natural looking forest pine all year round, the trunk of which is about 50-60% needled. The rest is covered with dead branches. Create with this article in your model landscape pure pine forests, coniferous mixed forests or together with deciduous trees mixed forests.
The common pine (Pinus sylvestris), also known as scotch or scots pine, reddish, forche or white pine, served as a model for this kind of tree, spreads widely in Siberia to very low nutrient soils (sandy soils). Their natural distribution is very low in Germany, but their very high share of the tree population is due to forestry. It reaches a maximum height of 48 meters in nature. Choose the right size for your model scale or follow our recommendation according to the nominal size of your model railway.
