The foliage mat with oak foliage from miniNatur® is a realistic material for greening self-built model trees in H0 scale 1:87. A rich blend of deep green with warm yellow, ochre and olive-brown tones reproduces full early autumn oak crowns and is ideal for solitary feature trees, avenues, village streets and mixed woodland scenes.
At the 1:87 scale, the fine foliage structure of the mat suggests countless small lobed leaves without appearing grainy. Torn into loose pieces and applied in several layers, the material creates broad, irregular crowns whose interiors remain dark green while sunlit outer leaf clusters already show noticeable yellowing and bronze tones. Used between birch and maple foliage mats, the oak crowns form calm, weighty anchor points within varied early autumn deciduous woodland.
