The foliage mat with beech foliage from miniNatur® is a realistic material for greening self-built model trees in H0 scale 1:87. The rich medium to deep summer greens with slightly lighter outer leaf areas resemble the dense, domed crowns of beech trees and are ideal for avenues, village trees and mixed deciduous woodland on the layout.
At the 1:87 scale, the finely tuned foliage structure remains delicate at normal viewing distances while still providing enough volume to build larger beech crowns. Depending on how densely you apply the mat, you can create closed, shady canopies typical of mature beeches or more open stands that blend harmoniously into mixed woodland and park scenes.
