The foliage mat with copper beech foliage from miniNatur® is a realistic material for building dark red crowns on self-made model trees in H0 scale 1:87. Deep burgundy and reddish-brown summer tones capture the character of mature copper beeches and are ideal for solitary feature trees, park avenues and small groups of beeches that should stand out from surrounding greenery.
At the 1:87 scale, the finely tuned foliage structure ensures that the strong colour remains convincing even at close viewing distances, without appearing coarse or blotchy. Depending on how densely you apply the mat, you can create closed, heavy crowns with little light penetration or slightly more open canopies with shimmering red highlights. Because the intense red colouration of real copper beeches is mainly visible during the growing season, this version is designed specifically as summer foliage.
