The brass worm gear W0.3-3-5.5 is designed for fine-pitch drives with 1.5 mm shafts in model railway applications. It transfers the motor torque reliably to the mating gear and can be used as a replacement for the Fleischmann worm 567608.

The precision-machined bore allows a play-free fit on shafts with 1.5 mm diameter. The small outer diameter of 3.0 mm makes it suitable for gearboxes with limited space.

Handling notes:
- Always push the worm gear straight onto the shaft without excessive force to avoid damaging the bore.
- Deburr the shaft ends slightly if necessary so the worm can be pushed on cleanly.
- Align the worm carefully to achieve the lowest possible runout.
- Secure the connection to the shaft with a fast-curing metal adhesive to reliably prevent twisting or slipping.
