The brass flywheel F012 is designed for use with coreless motors and other drives with 1.5-mm shafts. It stores kinetic energy and keeps your model running smoothly even during short contact interruptions. Ideal for converting and upgrading model railway locomotives and vehicles.

- Bore (inner diameter): 1.5 mm (tolerance +0.05 mm, −0 mm)
The precision bore allows a play-free fit on shafts with 1.5 mm diameter. Used together with suitable shaft adapters, the F012 flywheel can also be installed when the motor originally has a smaller shaft that is adapted to 1.5 mm.

- smooths acceleration and braking
- reduces visible jerks during operation
- bridges short contact interruptions on track and turnouts
The running characteristics of your models become noticeably smoother and more prototypical, especially at low speeds and during shunting.
Handling notes:
- Always push the flywheel straight onto the shaft without excessive force to avoid damaging the bore.
- Deburr the shaft ends slightly if necessary so the flywheel can be pushed on cleanly.
- Align the flywheel carefully to achieve the lowest possible runout.
- Secure the connection to the shaft with a fast-curing metal adhesive to reliably prevent twisting or slipping.
- Before final bonding, check the available space inside the model (diameter 10 mm, length 5 mm).
