This handcrafted field maple in spring brings fresh, light green leaf colours to your model landscape. The densely foliated, rounded crown with carefully arranged branches makes the tree look like a naturally grown prototype. In size 1 the field maple has a branched trunk, from size 2 upwards a characteristic triple trunk, which gives the model a particularly three-dimensional and lively appearance. Use this model tree as a striking solitaire, along a path or in small groups to create an eye-catching focal point on your layout.
The field maple (Acer campestre), which serves as the prototype for this model, is widespread beyond the borders of Europe – from Western Asia to North-West Africa and from southern Scandinavia to milder regions. In nature it can be found at altitudes of around 800 metres and usually reaches heights between 15 and 20 metres. Choose the size that matches your modelling scale or follow our recommendation for your model railway gauge and you will receive an exclusive model tree that blends harmoniously into your model landscape.
