The foliage mat with weeping willow foliage from miniNatur® is a realistic material for greening self-built model trees in H0 scale 1:87. Soft grey-green and olive tones with delicate yellow-green and straw yellow tips reproduce the long, hanging crowns of weeping willows in early autumn and are ideal for lakeshores, riverbanks, park ponds and village edges.
At the 1:87 scale, the fine, fibrous foliage structure of the mat suggests the narrow, drooping leaf curtains of weeping willows without looking frayed. Torn into narrow strips and draped loosely downwards over bent wire branches, the material builds deep-reaching crowns in which the foliage close to the trunk remains fresh green while the leaf tips already lighten to gentle yellow – perfect for characteristic weeping willows as focal points at watersides and in park scenes.
