The foliage mat with plane tree foliage from miniNatur® is a realistic material for greening self-built model trees in H0 scale 1:87. Warm ochre and golden tones, honey yellow and light yellow-brown with a few olive and reddish-brown shadows reproduce the broad, layered crowns of urban plane trees in late autumn and are ideal for street and avenue trees, city squares, parks and tree rows along railway lines and river banks.
At the 1:87 scale, the fine foliage structure of the mat suggests dense yet soft clusters of the large, palmate plane tree leaves shortly before leaf fall without appearing coarse. Torn into irregular pieces and applied in several layers, the material builds wide, slightly ragged crowns in which the inner foliage already appears more woody and yellow-brown while the outer crown still glows in warm golden tones – perfect for characterful late autumn plane trees in streets, avenues and park landscapes.
