The foliage mat with poplar foliage from miniNatur® is a realistic material for greening self-built model trees in H0 scale 1:87. Luminous lemon yellow, golden yellow and light ochre tones with a few soft yellow-brown and olive shadows reproduce the bright late autumn crowns of poplar avenues and are ideal for street and roadside trees, riverbank rows, windbreaks and solitary poplars in fields and on embankments.
At the 1:87 scale, the fine foliage structure of the mat suggests dense but slender clusters of the small, pointed poplar leaves shortly before leaf fall without appearing coarse. Torn into loose pieces and applied in several layers, the material builds tall, columnar crowns in which the inner crown already shows more transparency and deeper yellow-brown tones, while the outer zones still shine in luminous lemon and golden yellow – perfect for late autumn poplar avenues, railway embankments and mixed deciduous stands with light, vertical accents.
