The foliage mat with poplar foliage from miniNatur^® is a realistic material for greening self-built model trees in H0 scale 1:87. Light to medium greens with luminous lemon, straw yellow and soft beige-brown tones reproduce avenues and solitary poplars in early autumn and are ideal for village streets, station forecourts, riverside promenades and park edges.

At the 1:87 scale, the fine foliage structure of the mat suggests many small leaf clusters along the tall, slender crowns typical of poplars without appearing grainy. Torn into loose pieces and applied in several layers, the material builds narrow, tapering crowns in which foliage close to the trunk remains light green while the outer leaf zones already shimmer in yellow and pale brown – perfect for poplar avenues as calm vertical accents between lower deciduous tree species.
